Building Strong Partnership Between School & Students' Parents ****** 1. Establish a support network among parents to learn and share 'best practices' in working with and supporting their children in learning and development ****** 2. Provide support for school events and programmes, e.g. funding (donations), manpower (chaperon), expertise (sharing) ****** 3. Direct access to school leaders and advisors, who will also be present for PSG meetings and events ****** 3. First-hand notification of important school events and news as well as special invitation to school events and programmes, e.g. SFE talks, etc. ****** 4. Give direct input and feedback to the school in terms of planning and operations, through mechanisms such as surveys, feedback (verbal, written), or even participating in some committees

PARENT SUPPORT GROUP (PSG)

Parent Support Group is a community of like-minded volunteer parents who comes together to contribute, care, and share with one another. PSG is the platform for interaction, sharing and bonding.


THE MISSION

The mission of PSG is to foster closer relationship with teachers, parents and the pupils. Through activities and interactiion, PSG hopes to enhance parent-child-school relationship and bonding through deeper understanding of Teck Whye’s school life and learning environment
